Fifteen Years in the Rain
Portland was my home for 15 years. I’ve traced its rain-soaked streets, felt the city hum, and watched the skyline blur in the drizzle. Every photograph was a love letter to this place—the streets that carried me, the trails that called me, and the way Portland held me through every season. Every moment, seen, felt, and captured.
Some days, out here under the Southern California sun, I still catch myself listening for the rain. I remember the quiet, garden-lined blocks of Southeast Portland, where the roses spilled over the fences, and the first nights in the Pearl when the city lights shimmered on wet pavement. I remember the roar of the Gorge waterfalls, the cold wind on the Oregon Coast, and Mount Hood waiting on the horizon like an old friend.
I didn’t know then how much I would miss the gray mornings and the smell of wet cedar. These photographs are how I go back.
